Automated Promotion Service
What is it?
An automated real time self-service promotion tool that combines all in-store promotions in one single unit.
Given its ability to integrate with retailer POS systems or run independently, APS leverages technology (mobile and social) and allows consumers to engage with brands at the point of sale.
Consumers can access all brand competitions/promotions in the Automated Promo Unit (APU) that is set up in store by just using their cell number to enter promotions.
The system provides:
- Sales reports (at brand level per channel, district, store, SKUs etc)
- Ability to launch instant, targeted volume uplift promotions
- Real time and accurate promotion data.
- Paperless.
- Can run multiple promotions of different promotion types eg. sweep stakes, instant redemption promos, event linked promos, loyalty promos, under-liner promos etc.
- The unit can also serve as a POS display/promo communicator.
- Instant reports with remote access for clients.
- Demographics (age profiles, location, gender).
- Trends (peak periods, low usage periods).
How does it work?
1. Customer enters the shop.
2. Customer selects their product of choice.
3. Customer proceeds to pay point.
4. Cashier captures the sale and gives the customer a receipt or approves entry without a receipt.
5. Customer enters their details on the Automated Promo Unit.
6. Customer's entry is confirmed and immediately availed to client reports.
